Watch the birds take a flying dip in the dam on a sunny afternoon. There’s an array of wildlife, thriving bird life, kangaroos, green tree frogs and much more.

Baffle Creek (only 4 min away) is a perfect location for fishing, prawning and crabbing, as well as boating and kayaking.

UNLIKE THE USUAL CARAVAN PARKS …

Unlike the usual busy caravan parks, we offer a spacious, peaceful bush camping setting with plenty of privacy. 

The terrain is flat and caters to all types of campers - tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and buses.

Campfires and generators are permitted (subject to conditions) in designated areas.

WHAT KIND  OF CAMPER ARE YOU?

We have one caravan and 20 sites set in various locations around 108 acres of prime bushland. Our camp spots range from open spaces to shady, secluded areas. We have flushing toilets and hot showers.

  • CARAVAN

    This is the super comfy bush holiday option. For those who want to escape to the bush but still want all the creature comforts of a modern caravan.

  • POWERED SITES

    Our most comfortable option includes power and water. 5 sites that are spacious and private, perfect for your caravan.

  • OFFGRID SITES

    Go off-grid camping. 10 sites that are quite large and can fit the whole family with room to park a few caravans, vehicles and boats.

  • SECLUDED SITES

    For the ultimate bush experience camp at one of five secluded sites completely surrounded by bushland.

    Special bookings are available for larger groups and multiple families that want to camp together.

  • 2.7km to Flat rock boat ramp. 

  • 5.9km to Rules Beach.

  • 12km to Baffle Creek Golf course.

  •  13km to local shops (Bottle shop, fuel, hardware store, takeaway food, pub and convenience store). 

  • 20km to Deepwater National Park.

  • 33km to Agnes Water. 

  • 73km to Seventeen Seventy. 

  • 98km from Bundaberg.

 
  • This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

  • Rules Beach Bush Camp is 101kms from Bundaberg, make your way onto Lowmead / Rosedale Road for 54kms then turn right onto Tableland Road and travel for 2.8kms then turn right onto Hills Road, continue for 17kms, you will go over a one-way bridge, after this bridge turn right onto Coast Road, travel for 14kms then turn left onto Lindy Drive (unsealed road).

    The property is approximately 1.1 k on the right and has the Paperbark Bush Camp sign out the front.

    Google Maps is asking you to turn earlier (at the pigs for sale sign) please ignore this and drive further.

  • If you are travelling from Gladstone (132kms), make your way onto Bruce Highway for 48kms, turn left onto Larson Street (Miriam Vale) which turns into Fingerboard Road and travel for 25kms, turn right onto Tableland Road and travel for 10kms then turn left onto Cross Road and travel for 3.9kms until you come to Webster Road turn left, travel another 1.4kms and turn right onto Taunton Road, then 3.7kms turn left onto Hills Road, continue for 1.4kms, you will go over a one-way bridge, after this bridge turn right onto Coast Road, travel for 14kms then turn left onto Lindy Drive (unsealed road).

  • Well, what can I say, this place is truly a slice of heaven in Central Queensland. The location is perfect as you get the best of both worlds! You feel like you are in the middle of outback Australia, the stillness, the wildlife, (kangaroos every afternoon and morning grazing was such a delight to see) the millions upon millions of stars at night is truly amazing!
